- 2nd place in Impromptu Art in 2005 Latin Regional Forum. It's a contest in which a theme is given beforehand, such as Mythology, then a specific subject is given on the spot, for which teams of 4 (? sorry I don't quite remember) have one hour to create relevant art using the materials provided. The theme we were given was Aries. Well, while other teams were busy gluing together monumental contraptions, I grabbed a piece of paper and a cruddy cheap pencil and began to hash out a sketch. I was the only one from my school who had signed up for the competition, and my pencil sketch took second to some magnificent sculpture or other.
Education
- I had great art teachers in Elementary and Middle School. Besides that, I have no formal art education to speak of. I learn through observation and practice.
